Most clubs only ever ask for a race top. The same design runs across everything below, so a member can train, race, and stand at prizegiving in club colours. Photos show Trimtex sample designs. Yours will carry your own.

What the price covers
Custom kit costs more than a shirt off a rack, because each piece is cut, printed, and sewn for your order. This is what is in the price.
Kit built for the sport
Forest tops with vented backs, orienteering pants in abrasion-resistant fabric, and mesh shirts made for hot courses. These are orienteering garments, not running kit with a logo added.
Made in Europe
Made to order in Trimtex's own factory in Europe. It is the kit New Zealand's national orienteering team races in.
Your design, drawn for you
Trimtex's designers work your colours and logos into each garment. Design is included, and you approve a proof before anything is made.
Small orders welcome
From 5 of a garment, in any mix of men's, women's, and junior sizes. A squad or a school team can order, not only a big club.
The import handled
Freight from Europe, customs clearance, and the paperwork are ours to sort. You get one invoice in New Zealand dollars and nothing to pay at the border.
A two-year warranty
Trimtex gives a two-year warranty on everything it makes. If something fails, tell us and we take it up with them.
What a kit costs
Every price is per garment, in New Zealand dollars. Printing in your design is included. The adult price is shown before GST and with it.

"From" prices. Every column excludes GST except the one marked. Junior sizes run from 130cm to 160cm. Prices follow the euro, so your quote confirms the figure on the day and holds it for 14 days.
Freight
Kit ships from Europe as one consignment, so freight costs much the same for ten shirts as for forty. Freight and customs clearance are a flat $425 + GST on orders under $3,500, and free on orders of $3,500 or more. There is nothing to pay when it lands.
Price breaks
5% off orders over $8,000, and 10% off orders over $15,000. The break applies to the whole order, so it pays to put the race tops, jackets, and tees through together.
Payment
50% when you place the order, which starts production. The balance is due before the kit ships to you. One invoice to the club or school, with GST split out.

From an idea to kit on the start line
Tell us what you want
Your colours, your logo, and roughly how many people. A sketch on paper is enough to start from.
Approve the design
We work it up with Trimtex's designers and send a proof of each garment. One person signs it off for the club.
Collect sizes and order
Members pick garments and sizes on one form with one closing date. You pay 50% and production starts.
Kit arrives
8 weeks after final sign-off, delivered to one address, with the balance paid before it ships.
Working back from an event
Count back 8 weeks from the day you need the kit, and that is your design sign-off date. Allow two to four weeks before that to settle the design and collect sizes. For a season that starts in February, start the conversation in October.
Any group that wants to look like a team
Orienteering clubs. It is the kit New Zealand's national orienteering team races in, supplied through us.
Running and trail groups. Singlets, tees, and a jacket for the cold end of the season.
Adventure racing squads and events. Tops that survive scrub, and a way to put a whole squad or a volunteer crew in one colour.
Schools. Team tops in junior and adult sizes on one order, invoiced to the school.
What people ask first
What is the smallest order
5 of each garment, in any mix of sizes. Caps, beanies, and headbands start at 20. An order under $3,500 carries the flat $425 freight charge, so a small order costs more per piece. It is worth pooling an order with another team to share it.
What does the design cost
Nothing extra. Design is part of the price, and you see a proof of every garment before production starts.
Can we try sizes before ordering
Trimtex publishes a size chart for every garment, and many New Zealand orienteers already own a Trimtex top to check against. Ask us about trying a size set at an event near you.
Can new members order later
Yes. Your design stays on file, so a top-up order uses the same artwork. Ask us about minimums on a reorder when you get your quote.
Can kit be returned
Custom kit is made for you, so it cannot be returned or swapped for another size. That is why each member confirms their own size on the order form. Trimtex covers faults with a two-year warranty.
Why are there prices here and nowhere else on this site
Everything else we sell here is priced per account, so there is no single number to publish. Custom kit costs the same for every club, school, and team, so we can show it.
